These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of 911callready.com, 911 Call Ready curriculum, online courses, certification examinations, instructor resources, downloadable materials, training services, simulator-related resources, and other products and services offered by 911 Call Ready.

By accessing our website, creating an account, purchasing a product or service, participating in training or certification, or otherwise using 911 Call Ready services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or services.

  1. About 911 Call Ready

911 Call Ready provides educational curriculum, training, certification testing, instructor resources, online learning, and related products and services for Public Safety Telecommunicator education and emergency communications training.

Our products and services may be used by:

  • Schools
  • School districts
  • Technical colleges
  • Postsecondary institutions
  • Public safety agencies
  • Instructors
  • Students
  • Individual trainees
  • Other approved organizations

The specific products, services, pricing, licensing terms, and deliverables associated with a purchase may also be described in a quote, invoice, purchase order, licensing agreement, service agreement, or other written agreement.

If a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement will control for that specific transaction.

  1. Educational Purpose

911 Call Ready materials are designed for education, training, preparation, and professional development.

Use of 911 Call Ready curriculum, online courses, certification examinations, simulators, or other training materials does not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • State licensure
  • State certification
  • Employer approval
  • Successful completion of another examination
  • Admission to a training program
  • Placement with a public safety agency
  • A particular job classification or salary

Students and customers are responsible for determining the licensing, certification, education, background, employment, or agency requirements that apply in their jurisdiction.

  1. State Certification and Licensing

The 911 Call Ready Certification is a credential issued by 911 Call Ready based upon successful completion of the applicable 911 Call Ready examination.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, it is not a substitute for a state license, state certification, government credential, employer-required training, background investigation, or other requirement imposed by a governmental agency or employer.

State and local requirements may change over time.

Schools, instructors, students, agencies, and employers are responsible for confirming current requirements with the applicable regulatory authority.

  1. Curriculum License

Unless otherwise stated in a separate written license agreement, curriculum purchased from 911 Call Ready is licensed for use by the purchasing organization and its authorized instructors and students.

The purchaser does not acquire ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

A curriculum license does not authorize the purchaser to:

  • Resell the curriculum
  • Reproduce the curriculum for another school or organization
  • Distribute digital curriculum files outside the licensed organization
  • Upload protected curriculum materials to publicly accessible websites
  • Share instructor materials with unauthorized individuals
  • Publish testing materials or answer keys
  • Remove copyright or ownership notices
  • Create competing commercial products derived from the curriculum
  • Provide copies to another institution without written authorization

Additional restrictions may be stated in the applicable curriculum license agreement.

  1. Instructor Materials

Certain resources are intended exclusively for instructors or authorized administrators.

These may include:

  • Lesson plans
  • Teacher guides
  • Answer keys
  • Testing materials
  • Mock examinations
  • Instructor presentations
  • Instructor downloads
  • Certification administration information
  • Testing passwords
  • Protected curriculum files
  • Simulator exercises
  • Other restricted educational resources

Instructor materials must not be shared with students except where the material is specifically designated for student use.

Instructor login credentials, examination passwords, answer keys, and restricted testing information must be kept confidential.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content provided by 911 Call Ready is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

This may include:

  • Curriculum
  • Written materials
  • Workbooks
  • Lesson plans
  • Presentations
  • Graphics
  • Videos
  • Training materials
  • Tests
  • Quizzes
  • Mock examinations
  • Certification examinations
  • Simulator exercises
  • Website content
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Training methodology
  • Downloads
  • Course materials
  • Software-related content

Except for the limited license expressly provided to authorized users, no ownership rights are transferred.

The name 911 Call Ready, associated branding, and original educational materials may not be used commercially without written authorization.

  1. Student Materials

Authorized students may use student materials solely for their own education and training.

Students may not:

  • Publish course materials online
  • Upload course materials to file-sharing services
  • Sell or distribute copies
  • Share examination questions
  • Photograph or record protected examinations
  • Copy examination questions for later distribution
  • Provide exam answers to another person
  • Circumvent testing security
  • Misrepresent another individual’s identity

Unauthorized reproduction or distribution may result in termination of access and other available remedies.

  1. Certification Examination Integrity

Certification examinations must be completed honestly and independently.

Students must not:

  • Receive unauthorized assistance
  • Use prohibited reference materials
  • Copy examination questions
  • Record or photograph exam content
  • Share exam questions or answers
  • Allow another person to take an examination on their behalf
  • Access another student’s examination
  • Attempt to bypass examination security
  • Use artificial intelligence, search engines, messaging applications, or other outside resources during an examination unless expressly authorized

911 Call Ready may invalidate an examination result if there is reasonable evidence of cheating, impersonation, unauthorized assistance, testing irregularities, or violation of testing procedures.

In such cases, fees may not be refundable.

  1. Certification Results

Certification results are based on performance on the applicable examination.

911 Call Ready may provide results to:

  • The student
  • The authorized instructor
  • The purchasing school
  • The training organization
  • An authorized administrator

where appropriate for administration of the certification program.

Certification records may be maintained for verification, recordkeeping, customer support, and related business purposes.

  1. Online Courses and Training

Online training may be:

  • Self-paced
  • Instructor-supported
  • Time-limited
  • Available for a defined enrollment period
  • Subject to specific course requirements

Course access is intended only for the individual or organization that purchased or was assigned the training.

Login credentials may not be shared.

A purchaser may not enroll multiple users through a single-user account unless the applicable product specifically permits it.

  1. Account Registration

Certain services may require an account.

Users agree to provide accurate and current information when creating or using an account.

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of passwords
  • Protecting account credentials
  • Preventing unauthorized access
  • Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized use
  • Ensuring account information remains accurate

911 Call Ready may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe it is being misused.

  1. School and Agency Accounts

Schools, agencies, and other organizations are responsible for determining which individuals are authorized to access their purchased services.

Organizations are responsible for promptly notifying 911 Call Ready when:

  • An instructor leaves the organization
  • An administrator changes
  • Account access should be removed
  • Testing authority changes
  • An account may have been compromised

911 Call Ready may rely upon instructions received from individuals reasonably believed to be authorized representatives of the purchasing organization.

  1. Minors

Some 911 Call Ready services may be used by high school students who are minors.

Schools and educational institutions are responsible for obtaining any parental consent or authorization required by applicable law or school policy.

Individuals under the age of 15 should not independently create accounts or submit personal information through the website unless appropriately authorized.

  1. Orders and Pricing

Prices are subject to change unless confirmed through an accepted quote, invoice, purchase order, enrollment, or other written agreement.

A quote may include:

  • Product price
  • Training fees
  • Certification fees
  • Shipping
  • Installation
  • Travel
  • Taxes
  • Equipment
  • Licensing
  • Other applicable costs

A quote is valid only for the period stated on the quote.

If no expiration date is stated, 911 Call Ready may revise pricing before an order is accepted.

  1. Payment

Payment terms may vary by customer and product.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing valid payment information
  • Paying applicable invoices
  • Paying applicable taxes unless exempt
  • Providing tax-exemption documentation when required
  • Paying authorized charges associated with their order

Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of services or access.

  1. Refunds

Except where otherwise required by law or agreed in writing, fees for digital curriculum, online courses, downloaded materials, certification examinations, and services may become non-refundable once access has been provided, materials have been delivered, or an examination has been started.

Refund eligibility may vary depending on the product.

Examples of items that are not refundable after delivery or use include:

  • Downloaded materials
  • Online course access
  • Certification exam access
  • Completed examinations
  • Activated licenses
  • Customized services
  • Instructor materials

If a product is defective or access was provided incorrectly, contact 911 Call Ready so that we can review the issue.

Separate refund or cancellation provisions stated in a quote, agreement, or order will control for that transaction.

  1. Certification Exam Fees

Certification examination and retake fees are established by 911 Call Ready and may change over time.

Schools or organizations may occasionally receive different pricing, bundled testing, promotional arrangements, or customer-specific retake terms.

Customer-specific arrangements do not automatically apply to other customers.

  1. Curriculum Updates

Where curriculum updates are included with a purchase, the applicable update period will be stated in the product description, quote, license, or other purchase documentation.

The availability of updates does not mean that every document will be continually revised or that updates will be provided indefinitely.

Customers are responsible for downloading or implementing available updates as appropriate.

  1. Simulator and Equipment Information

911 Call Ready may provide information regarding simulators, training equipment, or other products manufactured or supplied by third parties.

Product specifications, software, features, availability, compatibility, and configuration may change.

Certain simulator capabilities may require:

  • Optional equipment
  • Additional software
  • Separate licenses
  • Network connectivity
  • Manufacturer support
  • Third-party applications

Customers should rely on the final quote and manufacturer specifications when purchasing equipment.

  1. Third-Party Products and Services

911 Call Ready may use or link to third-party providers, including providers of:

  • Online testing
  • Payment processing
  • Customer relationship management
  • Email
  • Website hosting
  • Learning platforms
  • Video conferencing
  • Equipment
  • Software
  • Analytics
  • Cloud storage

Third-party products and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

911 Call Ready is not responsible for changes made by a third-party provider that are outside our reasonable control.

When you submit information through a website form, you authorize 911 Call Ready to use that information to respond to your inquiry and provide requested information or services.

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of a separate license agreement

Where practical, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue before termination.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension.

  1. Service Availability

We work to keep our website and online services available and functioning properly.

However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Services may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Software updates
  • Internet outages
  • Hosting issues
  • Third-party outages
  • Cybersecurity events
  • Equipment failure
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

911 Call Ready is not responsible for temporary interruptions outside our reasonable control.

  1. No Employment Guarantee

Completion of a 911 Call Ready course or certification does not guarantee employment.

Public safety agencies may impose additional requirements, including:

  • Psychological evaluations
  • Medical requirements
  • Typing tests
  • Agency training
  • State certification
  • Local examinations
  • Probationary periods

The hiring agency determines its own employment requirements.

  1. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” and “as provided” basis.

911 Call Ready does not guarantee that:

  • Every user will pass an examination
  • Every student will obtain employment
  • Every system will operate without interruption
  • Every third-party service will remain available
  • Every training requirement will remain unchanged
  • Every curriculum component will satisfy every local employer requirement

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 911 Call Ready will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, curriculum, courses, examinations, or services.

This includes, where permitted by law, claims relating to:

  • Loss of employment opportunities
  • Lost profits
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Third-party service outages
  • Failure to meet external licensing requirements
  • Unauthorized account access outside our reasonable control

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  1. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, organizations and users agree to be responsible for claims arising from their own unlawful use, unauthorized reproduction, misuse of intellectual property, testing misconduct, account misuse, or violation of these Terms.

This provision does not require a party to indemnify 911 Call Ready for liability caused solely by 911 Call Ready’s own unlawful conduct where such indemnification is prohibited.

  1. Privacy

Use of personal information is governed by the 911 Call Ready Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy should be reviewed together with these Terms.

  1. Copyright Concerns

If you believe material on the 911 Call Ready website infringes a copyright or other intellectual property right, please contact us and provide sufficient information for us to review the concern.

  1. Changes to These Terms

911 Call Ready may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, the revised Terms will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use of the website or services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or another applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute that must be brought in court will be subject to the jurisdiction and venue permitted under applicable law.

If you want to designate a specific Florida county for venue, insert that provision only after legal review.

  1. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. No Waiver

Failure by 911 Call Ready to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable quote, purchase order, license agreement, service agreement, or other written agreement, constitute the agreement governing use of the applicable 911 Call Ready product or service.
